Philosophy
For many people, the world isn’t always a safe place to be vulnerable. McKenna views the therapy room as a space to counter that—where clients are met with care, presence, and attunement. McKenna believes healing begins when people feel seen and valued. She strives to listen beyond the words, hold space for complex emotions, and honor each client’s full experience. She approaches each client with deep respect for their unique story, and works to help them move forward with clarity, courage, and compassion. Her hope is that clients leave therapy feeling more empowered in their relationships and more connected to themselves.
Education & Training
McKenna earned her Bachelor’s degrees in Family Studies and Psychology from Central Michigan University, with an emphasis in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University.

Currently, she serves as a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technician, supporting adults navigating Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and related diagnoses. In every role, McKenna is committed to helping clients identify personal goals, navigate emotional and practical barriers, and take steps toward long-term well-being.
